Whoops!

I seem to have cut up the wrong debit card.

You see I have 2 debit cards: one for our joint account and one that is mine, all mine. When a new card arrived and Husband gave it to me to sign I assumed it was to replace our joint card. But as I discovered when I tried to get some money out and it refused to recognise my PIN, it wasn't.

I'm going to have to explain this to the bank now.

Well I hope you get better customer service than seems to generally be the norm with banks today... i.e. useless

I agree with Furtheron, customer service at the banks is not what it used to be.

OOPS. I've done that not only to cards.

I use a paper grinder to destroy all paper which might be used to steal my identity. I stuffed needed invoices, etc. in it several times. Some day I put my head in it.

I just sorted out my bank a/c yesterday that had been accidentally debited with £200 in fines for a direct debit with the wrong numbers!

Anyway I just dropped by to wish you a very merry one indeed and a fantabbydoodah New Year!
