I feel guilty

Well, not very but a little. Thank you for all your sympathy. I know I have been grumbling but it is only a cold! It's just that I'm not ill very often so I make a lot of fuss when I am. I am slowly getting better - though too slowly for my liking.

I was chatting to a lad in Zac's last night and he mentioned he had children. I asked how old they were and he said, 'I have a son who's 30 ...'
'30?!! How old are you then?'
'48.'
I thought he was only in his thirties; I am not very good with ages.

I think aliens may be trying to get into contact with us. When I open the front door I hear the sound of amplified voices. I can't quite make out what they are saying but I suspect their spaceship is hidden by the clouds.

Husband said spaceships communicate by saying 'duh duh da de duh,' but I think that's only because we started it off. These have obviously done their research and are speaking English.

One benefit of having Husband working from home is that he doesn't have a problem getting rid of Jehovah's Witnesses. He says no, thank you, and closes the door. I say no, thank you, and end up being talked at for 15 minutes. I know I should be a good Christian and invite them in and tell them the error of their ways but they're trained: I'd end up signing up just to get rid of them.

I always let the Jehova's Witnesses talk and then I say no thank you.
