Brother Andrew

Jams has written before about Paisley and MacGuinness and he has a good end-of-year bit. It reminded me of an article I glanced through today about a man called Brother Andrew. A Dutchman, he became famous in the Christian world for smuggling bibles into communist countries. Now 80 he is still taking the gospel everywhere he goes, including into Taliban training camps - where he's been invited to return. He believes that Osama bin Laden and Al Quaida can never be beaten with violence, only with love.

I'd never heard of him before Liz. I do admire the courage of his convictions. He is a remarkable man

Best of luck to him!
