Sense at last!

Now if Tony Blair had dedicated his time to promoting good British tea and how to make it properly, instead of invading Iraq, his premiership would have left such a better taste in the mouth.

P.S. It occurred to me that I might have been alone in hearing the news report about our Tone in Washington. Apparently, on a radio show he was bemoaning the inability of people abroad to make a proper cup of tea. A fact with which I agree wholeheartedly.

Sorry, Liz, to coin a phrase, you can't polish a turd.

Slightly, but not much I fear.
Do I miss him?
sure. Who can I blame for everything now?

Some of us do know how to make a proper cup of tea. Then again, I have a proper British grandma who taught me. Does that still count?

Yes, I saw the report on Sky. Agree with you, Liz. People make pathetic tea here, btw.

Elsie, I'm sure you do make a perfect cup of tea with such excellent training! Actually there aren't many in this country who make proper tea these days either.

A cue for a post I think!

Delicolor and cbi, you are being too hard on the man. Admit it now, if he had made it his life's work to bring proper tea to the world, it would be a much better place.
