Welshcakes for St. David's Day

Cooking on granny's griddle.

Some people make big welshcakes but I work on the assumption that I'm going to eat a lot so it's better if they're smaller. Good logic, eh?
According to legend, David's last sermon before he died on 1st March 589, included the phrase, 'Do the little things' ('Gwnewch y pethau bychain'). Like little welshcakes.

Now, they do look very appetising and I reckon I could go a round or two of those!
