I just got in from work to be met by an email from elsie telling me that Winston had died.
Winston was a pretty good guy.
If you ever visited his blog, please call over and leave a word for Roomie.
P.S. That's how roomie said he wanted to be remembered.

Liz, when I went to Winston's site this morning I honestly didn't know at first if that post was for real or not. I somehow thought it was a joke at first. I wasn't taking it in.
Liz....I truly am crushed. I've been reading Winston's blog since I started blogging.....probably just like you. I just loved that guy. What a sweet southern soul he was. A fun and generous spirit. It all happened so fast. One day he was posting a blog...the next, he was gone. I'm just in shock. We had just lost another wonderful blogger a couple of weeks ago, Joycelyn of Maya's Granny. I was just getting over the shock of her passing...and now Winston. This really shook me sweetie...my heart goes out to Roomie...

We all dislike getting old, but the alternative ain't too popular either.
