Saturday Photohunt - Shoes

I've posted this photo of my wellies before but I couldn't think of anything else suitable for the theme of Shoes. They were a Mother's Day present last year from Daughter.

Have you ever heard of the green wellies vs black wellies debate? I don't remember which way it goes but one colour is meant to mean you're an upstart, don't belong in the countryside, are not a member of the hunting set and basically are desperately vulgar!
So I don't know where your wellies fit in there!!
How's it going Liz. I still think you've got the coolest comments monika ever btw

Aaaww, what cool wellies...I want some! Cooper got a pair of red and blue ones from one of his aunties for his birthday and loves them. Gone are the boring black utility wellies, hey? Now they're a fashion statement, methinks.

Well now, those are some fancy boots!

Happy Weekend!

Excellent!

OH I love them. We call them gumboots down here (not sure why)- and these days I see many brightly coloured gumboots. They seem to have become a fashion statement in their own right!! Yours are great and I do love the colours. Happy weekend.

A world far away from all the polling which is going on. You have supporters out there, Liz and Harvey.

Wow, those are lovely boots. I love the fun design. Pardon my question but is wellies another term for boots? First time I've heard of it.

I love those wellies. We don't seem to wear them here. Very British idea (Welsh too)
I'm voting for you every day

Off topic, but your blog breaks my Firefox browser if I try to leave comments. It has been doing it since Thursday and I have to log out or kill processes to get it going again.

I've no idea why, I can comment on other Blogger Blogs.

(I'm leaving this by using Internet Explorer).

Love 'em. They look so comfy. Not much use for them in California, but would've been mighty handy when living in the rainy days and nights of Washington.
